Professional Bio: Claire Lois graduated with a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics from Saint Louis University in 2023. She did research under Professor Daniel Freeman in the Math department and Professor Tagbo H. R. Niepa (Carnegie Mellon University). She is co-advised with Professor April M. Kloxin and her research focuses on using properties of commensal skin microbes and hydrogel microparticles to modulate the healing process in chronic wounds.
Fun Bio: In her free time, Claire enjoys reading, crocheting, baking, and the outdoors! She also likes to take care of her many plants.
