Professional Bio: Esther Roh graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Chemistry in 2017. During her undergrad, she did research under Professor Ronald Breslow to synthesize RNA with positive backbones, Professor Alissa Park to study carbon capture in stainless steel slag, and Professor Kevin Uno at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory to investigate lipids in soil samples. She is now co-advised by Professor Millicent O. Sullivan and Thomas H. Epps, III. Her graduate work focuses on nucleic acid delivery via stimuli-responsive polymer nano carriers.
Fun Bio: In her free time, Esther enjoys playing board/video games with others, traveling with family and friends, and checking out new restaurants.
